I have the latest update of Mac OS X. For somereason, maybe a power outage, my computer shut down. When I rebooted, the date and time was 12/31/1969. I can adjust the clock manually, but the automatic control sends it back to that date in 1969. I know people talk about being stuck in the past, but this is a little ridiculous. Is there a way I can make my automatic time thing work again????

If you didn’t know someone was a geek or a nerd, but was pretty good looking, would you date him/her? … but what if you did know he/she was… would you still?

I’ve been in college for about 2 yrs now. Alot of girls claim to like the nerdy/geeky guy but I very rarely see alot of girls go out with the nerdy/geeky guy. Instead I’ve been seeing the opposite. So this has gotten me thinking, out of all the girls who say they "like" geeks/nerds, how many of you would actually date one?

I’m a shy girl gamer/geek.

There’s this guy I like who is obviously a geek, but not hardcore, per se. And I don’t mean it in a demeaning way either. He is taking Electrical Engineering, and is a gamer… but mostly likes to play stuff like Settlers of Catan (which I also like, but I don’t think it’s super geeky like D&D)
I plan on taking sociology, psychology or early childhood developement. Now my question is, is it gonna work or is my nerdy guy gonna find a nerdy chick to hang out?

No. i think it’s more to do with people being jealous.

I use to think Internet dating was for geeks. Then I met this couple. The women was very beautiful and the man was…well nothing special..When I asked her why she decided to try internet dating she said that she had come from a small town. She had known everyone there for years and had dated a few people but that there was just none she was interested in. So, has internet dating become better than traditional forms?

Have you girls heard the same lame excuses about "nice guys finishing last" and cry baby geeks who are mad that they cant get girls early on. And their story continues on how girls come crawling to them when they are successful. Do any girls think this is pitiful and the very reason they dont date these losers?
I am by no means a a buff jock who girls love because of my looks. I am a very nerdy kind of guy but I have confidence in what I offer to a girl. I hate these guys who have no confidence and complain and whine about it and in a very squeeky voice say "revenge will be mine". Anyways, what do girls think about these d00des?
